Mouth guards are similar to aligners that are fitted to your teeth, but in most cases they are made of more layers and are thicker to withstand higher forces and last longer.

  • The sports guard prevents tooth and oral injuries during contact sports such as martial arts, squash, rugby, football, ice hockey, boxing etc.
  • The night (grinding) guard prevents contact (wear) of the teeth during sleep and relaxes the jaw. Thus, the night guard might alleviate some health problems like jaw pain, headaches etc. caused by nighttime clenching or grinding associated with bruxism.

  • Discolored teeth → Veneers
Permanent veneers can be applied to irreversibly discoloured teeth, which not only help your teeth to look beautiful in terms of colour, but also allow the shape of the teeth to be adjusted according to your preferences.
  • Uneven or broken teeth → Veneers
Ceramic veneers provide an aesthetic solution for irregular or chipped teeth, offering the most natural-looking result possible over the long term with minimal tooth loss.
  • Tooth anomalies → Veneers or crowns
If you suffer from aesthetic problems caused by tooth enamel or anatomically small teeth, or if you have gaps, a ceramic veneer or crown may be the solution for you.

  • Heavily damaged teeth → Crowns
Unfortunately, after root canal treatment, or when having a large filling, the tooth can become very fragile. A crown can be a solution to this problem, not only providing an aesthetic appearance but also preserving the functionality of the tooth.

  • Missing teeth → Bridge
If tooth loss persists over time, there is a risk that adjacent teeth will soon tilt sideways - which is not just an aesthetic problem. The bite and other teeth can also be affected, which can be solved with a precisely fitting bridge.
Share the FAQ

Dental veneers are thin, custom-made dental restorations (shells) that are placed on the front of the teeth to improve their aesthetic appearance, color or shape.

Share the FAQ

They are usually made of ceramic or composite. Porcelain (ceramic) veneers are more durable and look more natural, while composite veneers are cheaper and quicker to produce.
