The cost of a dental bridge depends on a number of factors, including the materials used, the length of the replacement and the type of bridge. Implant-supported bridges are generally more expensive than conventional bridges.
Modern dental bridges, especially those made of porcelain or zirconium, look very natural and can hardly be distinguished from natural teeth.
Ceramic bridges are resistant to discoloration, but the adjacent natural teeth can become discolored, which can affect the overall appearance.
When placing a traditional dental bridge, some of the enamel must be removed to prepare the neighboring teeth. This can cause minimal damage to the teeth, but if the bridge is well made and properly cared for, it should not cause any major problems in the long term.
